Removal is where you see what went wrong the first time: thin concrete, no base, no steel, water running under the slab. We fix those things before we pour, because that's the whole reason you're paying to replace it.
If only a few panels have failed, we'll tell you. Section replacement saves money when the rest of the slab is sound, and we'd rather earn the next job than oversell this one.

Common questions
Is the tear-out included in the price?
Yes. Break-out, haul-off, base correction, and the new pour are one scope and one itemized bid. You won't be coordinating a separate demolition crew.
Do I need to replace the whole driveway?
Not always. If a few panels have failed and the rest is sound, section replacement is often the right call. If cracks run across most of the slab or the base has failed underneath, full replacement keeps you from paying twice.
Why did my old concrete fail?
Usually it's what's underneath: too little base, no compaction, no reinforcement, or water running under the slab. Once the old concrete is out, we can see which it was and correct it before the new pour.
